As of January 2023 Digbrew has closed!
Digbrew – Digbeth, Birmingham
Digbrew is one of a few small breweries in the Digbeth area just a short walk from Birmingham city centre.
Digbeth is up and coming with many bars/taprooms so you really could make a day/night of it and visit several all together
(not sure if you would still be standing by the end of it!)
Pretty easy to get to by train/bus into Birmingham city centre then a 10/15 min walk, no onsite carpark but the is parking on side streets but not sure on time limits plus the are currently ongoing road works in the Digbeth area. Plenty of car parks around thou if you do decide to drive.
The brewery itself is relatively small but a good few tables so can accommodate a decent amount of people, plus tables outside (weather permitting)
Now onto the important stuff… the beer! Nice selection of IPAs and also a few stout/bitters and a pilsner (not their own) on tap all reasonably priced mostly under £5 a pint.
They also offer a slush beer, which was ok on a hot day but not something I would have often.
They also have a selection of cans brew
ed by themselves and other small independent breweries. They also offer a take out and delivery service although we haven’t tried that yet so not sure on the area they cover.
They have a smallish food selection mostly pizza’s but they are definitely worth a try as the ones we had were excellent. Again priced reasonably at around £10-£12 for a decent sized pizza.
They do offer brewery tours I believe but we are yet to try one, so will update soon as I am sure we will be back!
Overall a great place with some excellent beers and banging pizza to go with them!
