THE GRAND BREWERY TOUR

The Hop Shed, The Old Chicken Shed, Suckley, Worcester, WR6 5EQ

This funky #brewery is housed in a converted chicken shed on a hop farm (hence the name!) in the stunning #worcestershire countryside and is not far from Malvern which has an abundance of campsites and stop overs close by.

We had heard they had been on TV on Ben Fogle’s ‘Make a New Life in the Country’ but hadn’t seen it (but have since watched it)

So we knew the beers must be pretty good, and we weren’t disappointed.

The owners were not there at the time but we spoke to the bar staff who were very knowledgeable and gave us a few samples to try so we could decide which beers we wanted.

They had a nice selection of their own drinks brewed using the home grown #hops, including ales/IPA’s, a porter, a lager and a #cider so there really was a drink for all.

They had ample seating inside and I believe they also have tables outside weather permitting and also pop up food most Fridays and Saturdays plus ample parking.

The #taproom is only open Fridays and Saturdays but they do have a shop where you can purchase the lovely beer and some good quality merch (we couldn’t resist so brought some hoody’s, t shirts and mugs). Beers and merch is also available to buy online (see the website)

A great brewery with some excellent drinks on offer, so if your visiting Malvern or just passing through, make sure you find time to give them a visit!
